What a lovely place! Enough to do if you want activity and fabulous if you just want to sit. Great beach walks, loved the lorikeets, and watching the sea. So nice to stay somewhere spacious, private and with great views, clean and so well furnished.

Ocean Break was the perfect spot for our family holiday. Everything we could wish for in the apartment and such a glorious outlook. Our boys enjoyed the beach so much; building sand race cars and chasing the waves, just a few of our daily activities. Just listening to the surf was enough to relax us, but also enjoyed the fishing (catching an octopus was most exciting), day trip to Bega and Tathra most enjoyable.

Thanks for a lovely stay. The apartment is set up so well with just about everything you can think of. We have enjoyed Tura and the surrounds. My husband made the most of the beach walks. The hills and the dunes are a challenge. Love the deck and the two noisy, cheeky visitors (rainbow lorikeet and baby) that we had on the first day were wonderful. Not a long enough stay. We don’t usually stay the same place twice but this spot is an exception so we will be back.

Thankyou for a great place to stay and great communication in the months previous to our stay. The hardest thing we found here was leaving the upstairs balcony on a daily basis. Absolutely everything was provided and we didn’t go without anything.

Thank you for magnificent break by the ocean. Wildlife, serenity and close proximity to the pretty enclosed shores in Merimbula.
Would have loved more sunshine but with that comes the crowds which is exactly what we came to escape from, being based on the Mornington Peninsula, VIC.
The apartment has been beautifully renovated for easy streamlined living yet has the cosy, homey feel. It felt like staying in a good friends beach pad who wanted you to have a lovely stay.
Binoculars were a great bonus, specially for viewing the whales. The highlight of the stay, if you have not viewed this species in full flight then make sure you stay over this season (Sept-Nov). Fantastic vantage point and the thrill of seeing these beautiful mammals is something we will never forget.

Had an absolutely fantastic weekend. We loved watching the huge variety of birds in the callistemon - honeyeaters, wattlebirds, finches – as well as a yellow-tailed black cockatoo in a nearby tree and lots of bellbirds and skinks.
We loved our first holiday in Merimbula and will definitely be back. Thank you for providing such a lovely holiday house, clean, comfortable and with a beautiful outlook.

Just a quick note to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at Ocean Break we've just arrived back in Melbourne this evening and all the way home we talked about how much we wished we could have stayed longer!
... it strikes the right balance between feeling a bit "posh" and special, while not so opulent as to stop the guest from living and enjoying themselves. We also noticed and appreciated some of the special touches, such as providing magazines that are "current", the games provided, the well stocked kitchen and the heated towel rails.
... the enjoyment we got from taking breakfast, lunch and dinner on the balcony and enjoying that superb view, not to mention the easy walk to the beach where our young daughter had her very first beach experience!
We will be passing the word to all of our friends that we have found a new "hot" holiday spot!
